The Urge For A New View

I'm completely guilty of having this... I get an itch all of a sudden and I just feel the need to explore and set my eyes on something new. I've had this urge ever since I could remember and so because of, this when I had the opportunity to travel, I'd take it. Lucky for me, my mother is a travel agent.

As a kid I'd travel to Guatemala almost every summer and when I had to option to lay over in Mexico,I took it. As I got older, the thought of stepping on new land excited the hell out of me so in college I jumped on the opportunity to study abroad for a semester and earn school credits while seeing the world. I ended up living in London for 4 months and visited every place I could during that time. I hit up Netherlands, Belgium, France, Czechia, Italy, Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

Now that i'm older I make it a point to see something new and get a different perspective.

There is something about visiting new lands, seeing first hand a completely different culture, and breathing in a new air that gives my soul vibrance and life.

When my wallet can't afford a trip across the globe, I make it a point to visit all the local sites that are at my fingertips. It's funny how we tend to not explore our own backyard but there are so many beautiful cities and sites to see close by!

Hmmm... where will my next mini adventure take me?
